As stated in the title the calipers mount directly to the stock mounting location on the stock 95-04 tacoma spindle. BUT the holes will need to be drilled out with a 9/16 drill bit to accept the larger bolt (14x2.0 x 35mm) that the caliper uses and With some creative routing the brake lines work perfectly.
I've seen that Torque specs have been covered a few times in reference to brakes but always in reference to the front. Does anyone know the correct torque for the rear Caliper Bracket mounting bolts?
The caliper pin bolts are an allen(hex) head that is 9mm. Its not a torx. Most hardware stores may not have a 9mm on the shelf, usually the sets. Yup, I found out the hard way. Got it all up in the air wheels off, tried both metric and standard size...did not have a 9MM.
