Jan 15, 2017 · Hi, The 6-cylinder engines do have a normal operating temperature of about 210 degrees F.
Superchargers achieve performance gains by increasing the density of the air/fuel charge within the combustion chambers of an engine. This increase in density is achieved by forcing additional amounts of air (beyond the amount of air that normal atmospheric pressure would force into the engine) at the lowest temperature possible.
Hi ya'll, New member here from Wisconsin. We just purchased an 05 T&C touring with 63,000 miles on it. Bought it a little cheaper cause it needed a little work and had a couple bumps and bruises on the outside. Got most of the issues cleared up, but still am having a slight heater issue. It...
On the absolute temperature scale, which is used by physicists and is also called the Kelvin scale, it is not possible to go below zero - at least not in the sense of "The inverted Boltzmann distribution is the hallmark of negative absolute temperature; and this is what we have achieved," says Ulrich Schneider.
H = kinematic viscosity in centistokes at 40°C of an oil of 100 viscosity index, and having the same kinematic viscosity at 100°C as the oil whose viscosity index is to be calculated. U = kinematic viscosity in centistokes at 40 °C to be listed in the body of the table. When the tables are being used in the normal manner,

Apr 11, 2013 · Mineral oil does not absorb water, is easier to use and does not damage paint or skin. The lower boiling point of mineral oil compared to DOT fluid is compensated over time, as DOT absorbs water, even through seals and bladders, leading to a lower boiling point, see also here. That’s why DOT has to be changed regularly.
Dec 27, 2020 · JUO: please i will like to know normal oil temperature in a car engine, i also will like to know the side effect on the engine. i noticed that when my oil temperature is above 100°C's and water temperature above 100°C's, white smoke will be coming out from my exhaust. especially in holdup or can somebody explain to me the meaning of that white smoke. if the engine is cold you will not see ...
I think if you're going to do maintenance on these cars yourself, it pays to have an oil pressure gauge, because the oil pressure sender unit on the 90+ is notorious for reading intermittently or not at all. The fuel pressure in the system will be in the range 35- 50 psi so an oil pressure gauge makes an ideal instrument for this check.

Jun 01, 2015 · As you said, you're looking at the oil temperature, not the water temperature. 240 - 250 is normal. After 2007, they changed the scale for the oil temperature to put 250 in the middle of the gauge, mostly to address people asking why it was always over at the right side of the gauge. My normal operating coolant temperature runs two segments past the 80 degree mark. Mine consistently is at 3 bars below the red temp bar. SO I think yours is normal. It seems to me that the GLC runs "hot".
Engine oil should be at normal operating temperature (230° F/110° C) for an accurate reading. 6. Oil pressure should be 30-38 PSI (207-262 kPa) at 2000 RPM and normal operating temperature. Al:USA:CONNECTICUT
My oil temps run about the same as coolant most of the time. Put it under load and the coolant temp drops below 200 and oil temps start rising. The highest oil temp I have seen on the PW is around 230. Just right to burn off the moisture in the oil. I am one of those that watches the temp screen regularly. Good to know what normal is.

Nov 11, 2020 · Somewhere between the minimum soil temperature for plant growth and the optimum temperature is the realistic soil temperature. For instance, plants with higher temperature needs, such as okra, have an optimum temperature of 90 F. (32 C.). However, healthy growth can be achieved when they are transplanted into soils of 75 F. (24 C).
Many older cars require oil changes at 3,000 miles while some newer cars may last up to 10,000 miles between oil changes. Viscosity The viscosity of oil is a two-number system that indicates the thickness of oil at a very low temperature and at the normal operating temperature of the engine.
Ambient temp was around 72 F and my oil temperature was sitting stable at 234-235. Coolant was swinging between 225-230(fan I assume). I did a search on the topic and found lots of posts about race temperatures, but none about idle.
Apr 24, 2018 · The relationship between pressure and temperature of a gas is stated by Gay-Lussac’s pressure temperature law. This law states that the pressure (P) of a fixed mass of gas held at a constant volume is directionally proportional to its Kelvin temperature (T).

If you are forced to make short runs, offset them by making longer runs that heat the engine to normal temperature for an hour or more. This is part of the same program that will give you the longest Engine life. Engine Oil can take up to 20 mins to reach a temperature high enough to evaporate out Water.
Now for some reason I kind of remember the oil pressure being a tad higher with conventional oil - but could be a bad memory. My temperature gauge reads at 196* but I've change the fan settings via my TwEECer. It will go up to 210* with the AC on at idle but drops back down when the car is moving.
A lot of factors can affect the relative richness or leanness of the fuel mixture, including air temperature, engine coolant temperature, barometric pressure, throttle position, air flow and engine load. There are other sensors to monitor these factors, too, but the O2 sensor is the master monitor for what's happening with the fuel mixture.

Temperature shows the warmth or coldness of an object, air or human's body. We use a thermometer to measure the temperature of something. In daily life, we mostly use degrees Celsius ( o C ) as a temperature unit. It is used in English-speaking countries apart from U.S. On the other hand...
Jan 20, 2018 · I'm not sure about the V6, but with my old '06 Hemi, it used a 203 degree thermostat. The EVIC displayed the coolant temperature, and under normal driving, I recall that it ran around 200 (203 if I remember correctly).

If your oil thermostat says 67, then you might need to turn your Harman temp dial up to 73, which would give you room temp of around 70 at your oil thermostat. If that works, then keep in mind that the position of your temp probe gives you a reading that's about 3 degrees high.
And if you run 20W50 oil in your MG at cool temperature (below 40dF) you may notice significantly lower oil pressure on startup until the oil warms up some. A certain amount of power is required to drive the oil pump, and power is energy.

Just took a 280 mile trip and check the system info and was shocked to see my oil temp was at 201 F. My trans temp was also at 128 F. Are these temps normal? I have a 2009 with 14,000 miles. Outside temp was 48 F if that made much of a difference. Thanks for the help.
